Location: Based near Ipswich Train Station
Coverage Area: Colchester to Norwich
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour + overtime available
Contract Type: Ongoing work with opportunity to become permanent
Hours: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week

About the Role

Our client, a large UK-leading Facilities Management and commercial cleaning contractor, is recruiting a Mobile Train Station Cleaner to support cleaning operations across multiple train stations.

You will be working as part of a mobile cleaning team, travelling from station to station in a company van, delivering high standards of cleanliness in customer-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deep cleaning of station toilets

• High-level dusting

• Cleaning windows, screens, and touchpoints

• Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards across multiple sites

• Working safely and efficiently as part of a team

Working Pattern

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week

• Driving time included within paid working hours

• Approximately 80% day shifts and 20% night shifts

• Weekend and night work required on a rota basis

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred (commercial or facilities environment advantageous)

• Driving licence preferred but not essential (you will travel in a van with other operatives)

• Comfortable with mobile work and travelling between sites

• Flexible and reliable, with willingness to work nights and weekends
