About the Company
Our client is a well-established and respected ceramic tiling contractor based in the East Midlands, delivering high-quality finishes across the retail, residential, and commercial sectors. Working nationwide, they have built a reputation for reliability, craftsmanship, and long-term client relationships.
With a growing order book and a close-knit commercial team of three, the company is now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their business and play a key role in managing a range of exciting projects valued between £1,000 and £1 million.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple tiling projects from tender through to final account. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on budget, maximise profitability, and maintain excellent relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
Manage all financial aspects of ceramic tiling projects from start to completion.
Prepare and submit tenders, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Measure works accurately and prepare cost reports for internal and client use.
Negotiate with clients, main contractors, and suppliers to secure best value.
Monitor budgets and cash flow to ensure projects remain commercially viable.
Support the project delivery team with accurate financial data and advice.
Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities to improve margins.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and industry standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the ceramic tiling or wider flooring/wet trades sector.
Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost management.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Confident working both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide as required.
Package & Benefits
Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
