Site Manager

About you

If you're a Site Manager who enjoys straightforward projects where you can get on with the job without unnecessary complications, this could be well worth a conversation.

This is a six week contract based in Sheffield, starting on 17th August. You'll be overseeing re roofing works on a university building, managing a small number of subcontractors and making sure the project is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

You'll need to be organised, confident dealing with subcontractors and comfortable taking responsibility for site safety and day to day management.

Your experience

You'll have previous experience working as a Site Manager on construction or refurbishment projects.

To be considered you'll need:

CSCS Black Card as a minimum

SMSTS

First Aid

Asbestos Awareness

Experience managing subcontractors and maintaining health and safety standards on site

Experience working on roofing or refurbishment projects would be beneficial, although it isn't essential if you've managed similar construction works.

What you will be doing with your experience

You'll take responsibility for the day to day running of the site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with the programme.

You'll coordinate the subcontractors on site, monitor progress, carry out regular site checks and keep standards high throughout the project. With only a small number of trades to oversee, you'll have the opportunity to focus on delivering the project properly rather than firefighting.

This is a short term contract where you'll be trusted to manage the site professionally from start to finish.
