Location: Manchester (covering North West projects)

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager based in Manchester to oversee multiple Cat A & Cat B office fit-out projects across the North West. This is a dynamic role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage several live projects simultaneously.

Project Details:

  • Office fit-out projects (Cat A & Cat B)
  • Project values ranging from £250k – £1m
  • Multiple live sites across the North West

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing multiple projects concurrently from pre-construction through to completion
  • Planning, creating and updating project programmes
  • Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
  • Monitoring health & safety compliance across all sites
  • Liaising with Site Managers, clients, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Identifying and resolving any project risks or delays

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing Cat A & Cat B office fit-out projects
  • Strong ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
  • Ability to create and edit construction programmes (essential)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • SMSTS / CSCS preferred
